Area Agencies on Aging Area Agencies on Aging are among the first resources an older adult or caregiver can call when help is needed. Funded by the federal and state governments, Area Agencies on Aging are a single source of free, unbiased information on and referral to local services and resources for older adults in Southeast Michigan. With the goal to reduce confusion and support informed decision making, Area Agencies on Aging certified staff will answer your questions and provide information on various resources.

United Way United Way 2-1-1 is a free telephone service that connects people with resources to help improve their quality of life. The 2-1-1 call specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 a days a week, and are ready to provide information about a wide range of community services including health care, job training, child care, mortgage foreclosure, heating assistance, and much more.
